It contains a language code and applies to path /. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax; under HTTPS it is also Secure. Browser-language detection may redirect to a language URL but does not itself set this cookie. The corporate website uses no analytics or advertising cookies, external fonts or embedded third-party resources. The website statistics described in the Privacy Policy use server-side counters without browser tracking code or access to browser storage for measurement. This information concerns the public corporate website; administrator sign-in and the authenticated Secure service have separate requirements. Ordinary browser caching of website files is distinct from tracking.
Consent
The language cookie serves only to retain the choice you expressly make for the current session. You can select another language or remove the cookie in your browser. Session restoration in some browsers can retain session cookies longer than a single window; browser settings govern that behaviour. Consent is required before using technologies that are not necessary for a service you expressly request, and withdrawal must be as easy as giving consent.
